This is a used part. It came off a vehicle and is sold in the condition shown in the photographs.
The SmartCap is a steel canopy built around a frame rather than a moulded shell, so it takes a roof load and accepts racking directly. That is the reason people choose it over a fibreglass topper. Being already off the truck makes collection simple, but check the rail and clamp pattern against your bed before committing.
