Chevrolet Colorado parts by generation

A Colorado part follows the body generation, not the model year:

GenerationListings in stock
2015-202211
2004-20124
2023-20263

No 2013 or 2014 row: GM did not sell one here. The 2004-2012 truck ran Atlas four- and five-cylinder engines, 2015-2022 is a new platform with the 2.5L four, 3.6L V6 and 2.8L Duramax diesel, and 2023-up runs one 2.7L turbo four. No sheet metal crosses those lines.

Those rows cover 18 of the 57 listings. The other 39 are not year-tagged yet, mostly aftermarket and universal-fit pieces whose titles name no year range. They sit in the grid but will not answer a year filter. Send your VIN either way: we confirm fitment in writing before any invoice.

What we usually hold for a Colorado

Twelve shelves carry 54 of the 57 listings:

  • Electronics & Displays, 15, by far the deepest shelf.
  • Tops & Caps, 8 (fiberglass shells, 5-foot and 6-foot) and Drivetrain, 8.
  • Front Bumpers, 4. Grilles, 2. Headlights & Fog Lights, 1.
  • Suspension & Lift, 4. Wheels & Tires, 4. Running Boards & Steps, 2.
  • Interior, 3. Accessories & Hardware, 2. Truck Beds, 1.

Fifty-seven listings is thin next to our Silverado stock and we will not dress it up: mid-size trucks come through here less often, so call if yours is not listed. On any used panel check the rear arches, cab corners and bed seams. Scale is normal, a soft edge is not, and we photograph both.

What bites on a Colorado

  • The Colorado and the GMC Canyon are one truck. Doors, glass, bed shells and most hard parts carry across, and several of our titles name both. Grille, headlights and badging do not.
  • Bed length picks the cap, not cab style. 2015-2022 came with a 5'2" or 6'2" bed, so a 5-foot and a 6-foot shell are different parts. 2023-up is short bed only.
  • ZR2 is its own front end and suspension. Wider track, unique control arms, Multimatic DSSV dampers. A ZR2 or AEV Bison bumper will not bolt to a WT, LT or Z71, or the reverse.
  • The 2015-2022 front clip splits at 2021. Chevy restyled the nose, so 2015-2020 and 2021-2022 grilles, headlights and bumper covers do not interchange.
  • A 2.8L Duramax is not a gas truck under the hood. Its radiator, fan and charge-air plumbing are its own; gas-truck cooling and intake parts will not drop in.
  • Radios and cluster units are usually VIN-linked. A used head unit normally needs programming to the truck it lands in, so plan on a scan tool.

Other Chevrolet trucks and where to look next

No half-ton part shares sheet metal or chassis with a Colorado, but that is where our depth is: Chevrolet Silverado 1500 holds 586 listings, Chevrolet Silverado 2500 has 66 for HD front ends and beds, Chevrolet Tahoe has 37 and Chevrolet Suburban 22. Inside the Colorado, start with Electronics & Displays (15), then Tops & Caps (8) and Drivetrain (8).

Colorado questions

Both, and each listing says which: 46 of the 57 are used, 11 are new. The used ones are take-offs from damaged Colorados we dismantle in Toledo, photographed as they came off.

Most of it will, same truck, and some of our listings name both. The front-end trim is the exception: grille, headlights and badging are brand-specific.

Inside a generation, usually. Across one, no: 2004-2012, 2015-2022 and 2023-2026 are three different trucks. Watch the 2021 restyle too, because 2015-2020 and 2021-2022 front clips do not swap.

2015-2022 at 11 listings, then 2004-2012 at 4 and 2023-2026 at 3. Another 39 are not year-tagged, so the grid holds more than those numbers show. Ask us.

Go by bed length. The 2015-2022 truck came with a 5'2" or 6'2" bed and 2023-up is short bed only. Our 8 Tops & Caps listings call out 5-foot or 6-foot, so measure yours.

90 days, parts only, the part, not labor. Returns run 30 days with no restocking fee. There is no card checkout: you call or reply, we confirm fitment, then we invoice by wire, Zelle, Apple Cash, Chime or Cash App. Shipping to all 50 states is in the price. Call (419) 295-3565.

Not certain which variant your truck takes? Decode the VIN with NHTSA’s vPIC decoder, send us the result and we confirm fit in writing before we invoice.
